Frequented by several Indian tribes, the deeded owners were of French descent, who claimed the property had also been used by pirates to bury their treasure. Today, this more than 20,000 square foot estate hosts weddings and events and offers Botanical Gardens and a Nature Trail for visitors and locals alike.

There are more than 20 varieties of orchids and 150 species of Caribbean plants and fruits. You can meander around the estate looking at plants and birds. The plants are labeled so you can learn the names if you like. While you are enjoying your botany lesson, take a look at the view. There is an expansive outdoor observation deck with breathtaking views of St. John, Hans Lollik, Jost Van Dyke, Tortola, and many more cays. The main house boasts classic West Indian architecture with lush gardens. There is a gift shop and free rum punch and fruit punch. This is a unique and beautiful spot to visit while in St. Thomas.
